"How do I love thee, let me count the ways...to the breadth and depth my heart can reach"..doesn't even begin to touch how much I love you, nor how much I miss you. Today is 4 months since we parted. I wish I had had a chance to tell you goodbye and that I loved you, although I know you know. I'm doing as well as I can but I don't have you here to guide me, ao I'm doing a lot of fumbling! Good night, Sweet Prince, I'll see you when I get there.

John Paulette was a very nice person who will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of spending time with him. He was a true gentleman in a world where most of those qualities in a man have been long forgotten.

I had the privilege of working off and on with John at both the NLR and LR VA Hospitals. He was such fun. I was always amazed at his knowledge of trivia. We would try to stump each other; however, I think John stumped me most of the times. He was such a God-send in helping move my daughter from home to OBU. I will always remember his humor and generosity. I'm so glad to read of his having a wonderful church family, I' m sure John's faith was a great blessing to his family and will continue to be so. May God Bless you, and, surround you with His peace and comfort.

I was so saddened t learn of John's passing. I worked with him at Hendrix. He was a friend to all and a talker. He would often bring big bags of candy to our office to donate for the students. He was such a kind man and after reading over the notes left here , it's apparent how many lives he has touched. May God give you comfort in knowing that you will be together again someday. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time.

We are so sorry for your loss. Mr. Paulette never failed to be there for us.If it was raining or cold he would always be at the back door at night to give us a ride or be in the parking lots in the morning driving around in case we needed a ride.
He never had a bad word for anyone only a big heart and kind word for everyone. May God Bless you
We all will miss him.

Kathey and Family -
So very sorry to hear of John's passing. I worked with him for many, many years at the VA and a more kind and considerate gentleman you could never find. John's intelligence was awe inspiring but yet he had such a wicked sense of humor. He had a smile for everyone and was a good friend to me. Some of my best memories of John were in his limo days. The world was a much kinder place with him here. May God bless and keep you in his loving arms.

It is very sad to hear of John's passing. He was one of the first persons I met when I was a student at the VA over 30 years ago. John was a genuine person with a sharp mind and loved to laugh and joke with all his co-workers. His personality, his funny stories, and his compassion for his fellow man will be missed by us all. I pray that his family is comforted by his faith and by the fact that we share in their loss.

Working with John at Hendrix for the past few years was such a pleasure. He loved to tell stories of his family and his life. What became readily apparent was that his family was his life.

To all of you who love him, remember that he still loves you. As long as you have those happy memories and each other, he lives through you.

May each of you grow stronger in love and spirit through this transition in Life. John was a truly amazing man.

I am sad that John is passed on from us. I have to think of him living now in Heaven's glory. Kathy, as you said we know Danny was at the Pearly Gates to take John for a spin on his Harley. (A real man's bike with FAT tires, lol.)
I'm sure also all must be happy that such a great cook has arrived! John was almost always fun to be with, work or play. His kindness was to be emulated.

God must love you so much Kathy, as Satan roams about in your world. Vengence is mine, says the Lord, and He is our just God who will heal all wounds and mend broken hearts. I hold on to, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." Although we know this fact our hearts still ache. My prayers go up for you and your family. You know that I know. I was shocked when I heard of John's passing. When I started working at the VA, John was one of the first persons who took me under his wings and showed me the ropes. John introduced me to the world of photography in which he was very knowledgeable and creative. We spent many an hour hunting, fishing and just hanging out. He was a very generous man who would give you his undivided attention when you had a problem. I will miss him. Rest in peace my friend and someday we will meet again and have a laugh. God bless you and your family.

I can't believe such a kind and compassionate friend is gone. It's hard to express how much John has meant to me. From meeting him on my first day at the VA to having him as a dear friend through some of the best and worst times in my life. He was always there for me and anyone else that was in need. My greatest joy was seeing him find his soul mate in Kathey...his face would light up at the mention of her name as did her's. Our world is much smaller but heaven is welcoming its newest and brightest angel.
