James Powell 66, of Rupert Community Clinton, Arkansas died Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Brookridge Cove Health and Rehabilitation Center Morrilton, Arkansas. He was born July 3, 1945 at Fairbanks, Arkansas to the late Jonah and Lavada (Shue) Powell.
Graveside Service and Burial will be held 9:00am Monday, February 6, 2012 at Fairbanks Cemetery with Bro. Jerold Posey officiating.

James was a good friend. He had a great sense of humor. We worked together and car pooled for a long time.
He was a gentle spirit.

James was a very sweet, kind and funny! I will never forget him!! I will always remember his smile!!

I am so sorry to find out about James' passing. He was always so sweet and funny. He will be missed.

I always enjoyed knowing James. His mother and my mother, Bessie Johnson Bartlett, were second cousins. We used to see each other at Family Reunions in the Summer at my Grandpa Bill's house at Fairbanks. I am very sorry for your loss. James was always a sweet, kind person.

So sorry to hear about James. I've known him the past 23 years, and he just did not have any will to live after Margarete passed away just 9 months ago.
