Al Turnbo, 82 of England went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 22, 2012. Al was born April 20, 1929 in Coy, Arkansas to Albert and Lillie Jones Turnbo.
He was owner and operator of Turnbo Trucking for 49 years. He was a Baptist. He and his family loved to travel and did so extensively. He was a hands on person, maintaing his trucking equipment in his own shop. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Joann; 1 son, Alan and wife Susan of Cabot, Arkansas; 1 granddaughter, Amanda Morris and husband Richard of Maumelle, Arkansas; 1 grandson, Kirk Turnbo of Maumelle, Arkansas; one great-granddaughter, Lucy Susannah Morris of Maumelle, Arkansas; a special sister-in-law, Jane Griffith and brother-in-law, Darrell Black . Al had a special place in his heart for the Luid Jones family. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday morning, January 24, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the Roller England Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Mulberry Cemetery. The Turnbo's will receive their friends at their home 101 King Richard Dr England, Ar on Monday evening.

May God be with and comfort the Turnbo family. Beverly and Al's funeral was on the same day. It was a beautiful "blue bird" day!

Alan, I don't know if you remember me but we were friends at UCA....many, many years ago.... we lost touch with each other but every time I see England , AR or the Turnbo name, I think of you.
I just wanted to say that I am holding you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr. Al was a Good Man, I enjoyed just talking to him;
but mainly listening. I learned it to be true, that if you
