Paul Edward Standridge, age 55, of Dover, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012, in Harrison. He was born on June 22, 1956, in Dover Arkansas, the son of Ervin & Evelyn (Howard) Standridge. Paul was preceded in death by his parents.
Paul was a true outdoorsman with a love for hunting, fishing, chopping wood, his hunting dogs and telling his hunting stories. If it had four legs and was in the woods Paul would hunt it. Mr. Standridge worked construction on Dardanelle Lock and Dam.
Paul is survived by his wife, Donna Henson Standridge, of the home; his sons, Dewayne Standridge and Amondo Schilling; his daughter, Margo Hunt; five sisters, Ruth Hudspeth, Georgia Henson, Lois Riley, Shirley Freeman and Carolyn Humphrey; four brothers, Lindon Standridge, David Standridge, Junior Standridge and James "Pete" Hudspeth; three grandchildren, Tristan Hunt, Sydney Hunt, and Jaden Brown; and many other family and dear friends throughout the community.
Visitation was open.
Funeral service was Monday, January 16, 2012, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Interment was in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Floyd Humphery, Glen Henson, Randall Riley, Jason Freeman, Tony Hudspeth, Shawn Standridge, and Tony Mays served as pallbearers.

While I have never met Paul, his son Dewayne has shown undescribable kindness to my family this past year and is truely a reflection of Christ's love. My family holds Dewayne very dear and we greive that he has to feel the sadness of the loss of his father. Hopefully Paul was a believer and with that there is the promise of a joyous eternal reunion of father and son.
