Cecil Passmore, 88 of Trumann passed away on Friday, September 23, 2011 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born January 8, 1923 at Thola, AR to Ervin and Cora Martin Passmore. Mr. Passmore was a retired machinist from Singer Company and a farmer. He was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Trumann and a member of the American Legion. Mr. Passmore served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Doyle Passmore.
Survivors include his loving wife, Faye Farris Passmore; a daughter and son-in-law, Shelia and Keith Blasingame of Trumann; one grandchild, Payne Blasingame; a brother, James Passmore of Trumann; and a sister, Juanita Cummings of Sherwood.
Visitation will be 2-4 pm Sunday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
Services will be 1 pm Monday at the funeral home chapel with Darrell Miller and Austin Missey officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

All of our family will miss Cecil and will be praying for all of you. Uncle Cecil was one of the funniest people I have ever known and my memories of days at the farm with him, James, Grandpa and Grandma will always be remembered as some of the best days.

I'm so sorry for the family of Mr. Passmore. I know he's in a better place now and will be watching over his family. I will be keeping you guys in my prayers.

Mrs. Passmore, Shelia and family, we are so sorry about the loss of Mr. Passmore. He was a wonderful man with a good sense of humor and will truly be missed by all who knew him.
