Anna Ruth Plemmons, 94, of Magazine, Arkansas passed away April 25, 2011. She was born in Hoboken, New Jersey May 12, 1916 the daughter of Friedrick and Mary Liedtke. Anna was active in the Booneville Senior Activity Center where she volunteered for over thirty years, served on the Advisory Board for the Area Agency on Aging, a member of the Magazine United Methodist Church, a member and served as Treasurer of the Magazine American Legion Auxiliary and a homemaker. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, William Thomas Plemmons and two sisters, Frieda Back and Marie DeLeo.
Survivors are her two daughters, Annamarie Purshock of Stuart, Florida and Fern Ryan of Douglasville, Georgia; three grandsons, Stephen Purshock of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, Michael Dugan of Wayzata, Minnesota and Cody Ryan of Sierra Vista, Arizona; five great-grandchildren, Jessica Purshock, Andrew Purshock, Logan Ryan, Blake Ryan and Pierce Wakeman.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Booneville Funeral Service of Booneville.
Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2011 at Booneville Funeral Service Chapel.
