Lee Ola Gipson Tate, 76, Jonesboro passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born February 8, 1935 in Grubbs. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fallon and Lillie King; her husband, Gerald Tate; two brothers, Paul Gipson and Hosea Gipson; and two sisters, Ethel Fletcher and Retha Mayhan.

Survivors include a son, Kevin Tate; two daughters, Cheryl Tate and Karen Tate, all of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren, Jami Veal, Kelli McGee, Dustin Campbell, Josh Campbell, Jeremy Tate, Zachary Tate and Brody Swick; four great grandchildren, Chyanne Krauss, Lillie Campbell, Garrett Veal and Truett Tate; two brothers, Kenneth Gipson of Blytheville and Leroy Gipson of Jonesboro; and a sister, Ann Tapp of Grubbs.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm Friday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday at the funeral home with Gary Gipson officiating. Ken Gipson will assist. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Dustin Campbell, Joshua Campbell, Jeremy Tate, Zachary Tate, Brody Swick, Jason Veal, and Jeremy McGee will serve as pallbearers. Zack Kaja and Steven Anderson will serve as honorary pallbearers.
