Cecil Earl Settlemire, age 40, of Marshall, Arkansas passed away on Friday, April 01, 2011 at his home. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on August 24, 1970 to William Settlemire and Wanda (Bass) Settlemire.
Cecil attended the Special Services Learning Center in Marshall. He was an avid collector of die cast antique cars.
His parents; two sisters, Ruby Harris and Rosie Delong; and one niece, Salina Walters, precede Cecil in death.
Survivors include three sisters, Ann Barger and husband Dale of Scranton, AR, Elizabeth Martinez and husband Ron of Dardnelle, AR and Cardelia (Dee) Buckner and husband Delbert of Marshall, AR; three brothers, Johnny Settlemire and wife Dorothy of Morrilton, AR, Michael Settlemire and wife Nina also of Morrilton and Jim Settlemire of IL. A host of nieces and nephews will also mourn his passing.
Services for Cecil Earl Settlemire will be 2:00 PM Monday, April 04, 2011 at the New Beginning Church in Dennard, AR with Bro. Darrell Black and Bro. Ester Bass officiating. The family will receive friends at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, AR beginning at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 04, 2011. Burial will be in the Shady Grove Cemetery near Shirley, AR.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Barger, Ronnie Willcut, Larry Arter, Jerry Milam,
Donald Bounous and Larry Lewis.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Barger and Gurney Settlemire.
