Louise V. DuPont, age 76, of St. Joe, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Bristol Pointe Health and Rehab in Harrison, Arkansas. She was born on June 8, 1934 in Imo, Arkansas to Radus Drewry and Joy (Firestone) Drewry.
Louise was a kind and patient woman who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed quilting and all who have tasted it will miss her wonderful fudge. Louise was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her presence will be missed and mourned by all who knew her.
Louise is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Carol DuPont; one great-granddaughter, Lulu Patton; two sisters, Ida Smith and Sandi Kay Drewry; and one brother, Radus Drewry Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Earl DuPont of the home; three sons, Stevie DuPont and wife Judi of Newark, Il, Randolph DuPont and wife Victoria of St. Joe and Rodney DuPont and wife Terry also of St. Joe; three daughters, Cathy Thornburg of St. Joe, Julie DuPont also of St. Joe and Sandra Weissman and husband Bob of Hawthorne, NV; three sisters, Ellen Swiderski and husband George of Marshall, Joyce Scott and husband Vernon of Batesville and Trudy McCutcheon of Harrison; one brother, William Drewry of Harrison; seventeen grandchildren, Kimberlee Patton and husband Chris, Brian DuPont and wife Brittany, Jared Dorsey and wife Heidi, Jesse Dorsey and wife Natalie, Scott Thornburg and wife Mary, Dustin Thornburg, Sara Thornburg, Ethan Thornburg, Rodney DuPont Jr., Tristian DuPont, Travis DuPont, Virginia DuPont, Jennifer Hanks and husband Matt, Sean Weissman, Samantha Weissman, Kaylee DuPont and Kenzee DuPont; and ten great-grandchildren.
Services for Louise V. DuPont will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, AR with Buck Mays and Stevie DuPont officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bear Creek Cemetery in Marshall.
Pallbearers will be William Drewry, Stevie DuPont, Randolph DuPont, Rodney DuPont, Kenzee DuPont, Brian DuPont and Tony McCutcheon.

Grandma always had such a sweet and beautiful spirit and her love for all of us was so radiant. I love you so much Grandma and I truly, deeply miss you so much and will always miss you.
