Robert Keith (Bob) Beeler of Harrison, AR, died February 18, 2011, at the age of 89, in his home. Mr. Beeler, who was known as Bob to friends and Keith to family, was born December 3, 1921, in southern Obion County, Tennessee near the small town of Elbridge. Bob was one of four children born to Robert Knox Beeler and Hadassah Yates Beeler. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Maxine, on September 1, 2001.
Bob was a faithful member of Northside Church of Christ for many years, where he served as an Elder. He also attended the Ridgeway Church of Christ during his later years. Bob attended Pennsylvania State until the outbreak of World War II at which time he served his country in Patton's Third Army in Germany as a tank gunner. He returned to college after the war at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where he earned a business degree. On April 7, 1943, he married Mary Maxine Moore of Coldwater, MS. They had three children, Robert Wayne, Donald Ray and Stephen Allen Beeler. Bob was a territory salesman for the Firestone Company in Memphis Tennessee for several years before becoming a co-owner of the 555 Firestone store in Harrison for many years. He opened Beeler Tire Service in 1968 and remained there until he retired. He also enjoyed many years working on his farm and raising his family.

Bob is survived by his sons, Robert Wayne Beeler and wife Darlene Houser Beeler of Prairie Grove, AR., Donald Ray Beeler and wife Susan Hudson Beeler of Harrison, and Stephen Allen Beeler and wife Cynthia Hudgen Beeler of Harrison. Surviving grandchildren are Jason Beeler, Robert Beeler, Amanda Beeler Hendrix, Joy Beeler Trewhitt, Sara Beeler Moore, Emily Beeler Brown, Malinda Beeler, Katie Beeler and Garrett Beeler. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Surviving siblings are Houston Beeler of Brentwood, TN, Helen Gafford of Floresville, TX and Murray Beeler of Linden, TN.
Visitation was Monday, February 21, 2011, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Funeral services were Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at Ridgeway Church of Christ in Ridgeway, AR.
Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery.

don, i am sorry for your loss i as well as my mom and dad thought a lot of bob he was a very good man, my mom (osea mulanax) my dad (louis mulanax) they got gas and done other things there they thought a lot of your dad, my name is kathy mulanax (bass) i am louis the kid that works for you i am his aunt, and again i am sorry!!!!
