Claude "Pete" Singleton, born in Hensley, AR on Oct 12, 1923, has gone home to be with the Lord on Jan 19, 2011 in Little Rock, AR., at the age of 87. He was preceded in death by his father Clyde Singleton and mother, Virginia McDonald. Pete was a member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local Union 155 for 50+ years. He retired from Chicago Bridge and Iron Works in Conway, AR. at the age of 62. He was an avid car and motorcycle restoration hobbyist and also loved hunting and fishing
He is survived by his wife, Jean Singleton, whom he was married to for 60 years. Three children, Claudia Connerly, Karin Slater and David Singleton, four grandchildren, Nikki Sanborn, Shane Connerly, Natisha Dycus and Tyler Singleton, along with seven great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 21, 2011 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, AR 72209 (501) 455-5800 with Pastor Jeff Dial officiating. Burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.

I am so sorry for your loss. Virginia (Sally) McDonald was my great-aunt. I remember meeting Pete when I was a child.
