Raymond Edward Flippo, age 73, of Harrison, passed away Friday January 14, 2011 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. Mr. Flippo was born June 9, 1937 in Harrison to Walter and Bertha (Gay) Flippo.
Mr. Flippo is survived by sons, Rodney E. Flippo and Shawn W. Flippo, both of Harrison; sisters, Betty Branner and Lorreine Wilson, both of Winfield, Kan.; stepdaughters, Julie Noell and Debbie Raver, both of Harrison; stepsons, Alan and Kevin Greenhaw of Harrison; 18 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeffrey Ray Flippo; and a sister, Jewellmae Edmonson.
Graveside service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at Sandhill Cemetery, Yardell, with James Harp officiating.

Dear Sweet Uncle, I'm so glad I got to spend time with you this past year. I will miss you terribly, but know that you are finally SAFE with Jesus and your family there who have been watching and waiting for you. I wish you could have seen your memorial service here in Tulsa today, you would have been So proud!. Keep on making music in Heaven and wait for the rest of your family, we will meet you in the morning! I love you forever

Uncle Raymond we will miss you, but know at least now you are with people who will take good care of you and never leave you lonely. You will never have to make calls begging for someone to come spend some time with you. You won't have to wait for your sisters calls every night and your mom can hold you in her arms once again, we will see you again some day soon. We love you and have always loved you
