Genelle Rook, 83, of West Memphis, AR passed away January 3 ,2011 at Crittenden Memorial Hospital in West Memphis.
Mrs. Rook was born January 1, 1928 in Jonesboro, AR to the late William Henry & Charlsie (Dacus) Gambill.
Mrs. Rook was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a retired bank branch manager who loved to garden, fish and loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Hubert Rook of West Memphis, her daughter and son in law, Fabriene & Dennis Holloway of Marion, one sister, Mondrie Wilson of Jonesboro; two grandchildren, Byron Holloway and Leslie Barnes and 5 great-grandchildren, Taylor Holloway, Lauren Holloway, Charlsie Barnes, Madison Barnes and Braedon Barnes
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home and services 10:00 AM Wednesday in their chapel with interment following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, AR.

Fabrienne, I was so sorry to hear about your loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about Ms. Genelle's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. She was such an elegant lady. I will never forget her cooking filet mignon for us at the Sweetheart Banquet at Calvary Baptist Church. Love, Debbie
