Vernon Lovelace, 75, of Paris, AR died Friday, May 21, 2010 in Van Buren, AR. He was born December 25, 1934 in Paris. He worked in construction and was a retired master journeyman tile setter, an Army veteran, a member of the DAV and attended Life of the World Tabernacle in Charleston, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Violia Lovelace; his wife of 54 years, Mary Lovelace; a son, Sonny Lovelace; two brothers, Russell Lovelace and Jesse Lovelace and a sister, Mary Lovelace.
Vernon is survived by a son, Clifton Lovelace of Paris, AR; a daughter, Debra Liles of Paris, AR; two sisters, Wanda Parsons of Paris, AR and Anna June Silvia of Lincoln Nebraska; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.
The family will hold a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 24, 2010 at Life of the Word Tabernacle, 2053 N. Hwy. 217 in Charleston, AR with Bro. Wayne Looney officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home-Paris.

i'm so sorry that we couldn't make it to the memorial, we, larry and i , loved vernon so much. he was such a good man and he was funny too. he was a special person and we will miss him. we pray for you and your family love ya
