Grandma, I have been thinking of you a lot lately and even found a painting you had already drawn out of a landscape. I am still working on my art and am using your supplies. I just wanted to say I love you and I hope to see you again one day. Love, Adam

To me, my mom was the greatest woman that ever lived. She formed each of the kid's personalities and perceptions of life. She protected us from the uglier things in life. Her and dad provided each of the kids every chance and avenue to either succeed or fail. As I personally age, I continue to utilize the appreciations for art and music that she instilled in me to give me a more meaningful life. She has a note in her hands telling her how much I loved her.

Dearest Cathey, Linda, and Reagan,
I did not know about Jo's passing until today, and I am extremely sorry. She loved life SO much and shared her love of it with others. I'll always remember our times living next to each other in Eastwood. Your mother always had the most beautiful flowers, and she always shared her African Violets with my mother. Oh, what wonderful memories I have of her. I am so sorry that I didn't know about this sooner. I am keeping your families in my prayers.
In God's Love,
Nita Kay Cox

Dear Grandma,
You looked so beautiful when I saw you today. I'm sure you are proud of the way you looked to your friends and family during the viewing. Please continue to look over mom as she struggles with you going home. She relied on you for much support and you have been a blessing in her life to help her. I truly appreciate all you have done for me and my family over the years. While I respect your opinion and the many letters you loved to write to let me know it, I appreciate the words and was always good to hear another point of view, although I didn't agree with it many times. I love you and continue to watch over the family you blessed with you life here on earth. Big hugs grandma - I will always remember you as the kind, smart person you are. I will have to subscribe to The Bottom Line on my own now. :)

Grandma Jo, thanks for your hospitality and good memories every time we visited you. Your good cooking, your beautiful paintings and your love for Matthew. Thanks for accepting me as part of your family. We love you and we will never forget you.
My deepest sympathies to all the family,
Yeliza & Matthew Alexander Black (great grandchild)

We were next door neighbors of Jo & Jesse for 35 years. We had many fun times and will miss Jo so very much. Jo and Mary talked almost daily. To the family please accept our sincere condolences. We loved Jo very much.

We would like to express our deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother.
