Rev. Kenneth Lerew, 79, of Mayflower, died Sunday, October 4, 2009, at his home. He was born March 21, 1930, in Jamestown, North Dakota, a son of the late Samuel and Cecila A. (Pesika) Lerew. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Veda Lerew, who died January 30, 2004.
He was a lifetime minister with the Universal Church of the Master. He was a Forman/supervisor for Rohr Industries, Inc. (now Goodrich); and was an Army Air corps Veteran.
Survivors are his children, Margie Robertson of Newport Beach, California; Ken Lerew, Jr. of Medford, Oregon; Sue Harmon of Mayflower; grandson, Heath Lerew and great-grandson, Zack Lerew, both of Medford. His sister, Gert Mosler and brother, Alfred Lerew, both of Jamestown, North Dakota; and a number of nephews and nieces.
Funeral will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway. Visitation will be 6 8:00 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. 501-327-7727.

Sorry to hear about Ken's passing. Didn't really know most of our extended family. Wish I did. I have a picture of Ken with my father Cecil on my desk that I look at often.

We were so sorry to hear about Mr. Lerew, he was a good neighbor to us when we lived by him.
