Gail, Sandy, Vickie, Kenny & Family,
I did not know about Opal's passing away until I read it in the county paper. I know she was a wonderful Christian woman who was very strong in her faith, and shared that with all of you, and those she was around. She is with the Lord now. I know you miss her, but we will see her again some day if our hearts have been given to the Lord. You are in my prayers. Love, Pam

Gayle, Jerry and family;
So sorry to hear about your mother. My prayers are with you. Darlene

Gail, Jerry, Vickie, Terri and the rest of the family: I don't even know where to begin. When Terri called me I was on my way to Georgia for a conference and my heart melted when I heard that Opal has passed away. There are so many memories that come to mind. The times that I drove her to church, the pies she baked,Vickie, Terri and I driving her crazy, but most of all the memory that is so vivid is the living example of a servant of Christ that she showed to everyone that she met. I loved Opal so very much and my family and I were so blessed to live beside her and attend church with her for so many years. She was truly an ambassador for God!! Words cannot begin to express the sadness that I feel for her loss. However, we know what Granny Opal would be telling us right now....don't cry for me, I've made it!! Strive to meet me in heaven! You are all in my thoughts and prayers and I am so sorry that I was away and could not be there. I love you all so very much. Your families along with Opal have touched, blessed and inspired me. I love you all very much.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your families. May your special memories bring you through this difficult time.

Gail and Jerry, Marcia and I send our condolences in this time of sadness. Your mother was truly blessed with grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even great-great-grandchildren. Few are blessed with this opportunity. What kind of "cousin" does the youngest make for me?
Your entire families will be in our thoughts and prayers tomorrow.

May God bless the family, Juanita was best friends to my sister, Larce Goodwin. I knew Randy, David and Terri as small children, I understand they have grown into wonderful adults. Grandmas are so important may we each take a lesson from her and all the grandmas of the world.

We are so sorry for your loss. We know Mrs. Newcomb was a very important part of your lives.

It has been my pleasure to serve Opal and her family as her Case Manager.
She was a gift to behold.!!!!! Always had some knowledge to share and a smile to make your day!!!.
I will miss her, and treasure the memories.
I remember hugging her, and telling her that I loved her hugs.
She responded. "I am just a sack of bones".... Opal you were precious, and remembering you and your sense of humor makes me smile every time.
You are with the Lord my dear friend. We shall meet again!!!!
Hugs
Hilda

my thoughts and prayers are with you

I am sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Granny Opal passing. We can rejoice now that she is in heaven with our Lord and Savior, that is neither too early or too late, but always right on time. I will always remember her and Mildred singing in church when growing up, and she would say "Now Shorty, that's not right, this is how it goes." , and they would start over again. I pray for comfort for the family and all the friends that she will be leaving behind, but look forward to seeing her again when we pass through those pearly gates. If there is anything we can do anytime, please don't hesitate to ask.
