Bernice Fennell, 91, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2009 in Helena. Mrs. Fennell was born July 2, 1917 in Franklin County, Alabama to the late Jessie James Humphries and the late Belle Barker Humphries. She was a member of the Missouri Street Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son, Mike Fennell and wife, Joan, of Barton, Arkansas; two daughters, Kayrean Howard and husband, Charles of Leeds, Alabama and Abbie Ross and husband, Jerry, of Lubbock, Texas; three grandchildren, Laura and Mark Partain of Mt. Laurel, Alabama and Amanda and Todd McCommon of Wynne, Arkansas; four great-grandchildren, Brandon Keeling, Katie Fennell, Liam Partain and Andrew Keeling; one sister, Charleen Griffin and husband, Richard, of Elaine, Arkansas; and a brother-in-law, Vardie Childers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert D. Fennell; a grandson, Phillip Fennell; sisters, Emma Jean Genorska, Bertha Childers, Inez Mahall and Gladys Day Roger; and brothers, Curtis Humphries and Reginald Day.
Graveside services for Bernice Fennell will be at 10 a.m., Friday, May 29, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Mark Spencer will officiate.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.

I have so many good memories of Bernice. I loved her very much. Richard and I hate that we cannot be at the funeral but we will be thinking of Bernice you all at that time.
