Mary Margaret Willis, 78, of Trumann, AR died Friday, February 13 at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR.
She was born October 17, 1930 to James F. and Connie (Cole) Orr in Burdette, AR. She was married to Garland Eugene Willis on November 7, 1947 in Dyess, AR. He preceded her in death on February 24, 1984. She was a homemaker, a member of the Trumann Housing Authority Resident Advisory Board and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include four sons: Madison (Fran) Willis of Perryville, MO, William (Teresa) Willis of Payneway, AR, David (Pam) Willis of Trumann, AR and Eddie Willis of Jackson, MO. Four daughters: Mary Ann (Billy) McIntare of Tyronza, AR, Janis Lawrence (Roger Morgan) of Lepanto, AR, Gail (Steve) Cockrell of Lepanto, AR and Sharon (Wayne) Gotto of Perryville, MO. Two brothers: Robert Orr and Larry Orr of Winterhaven, FL. Three sisters: Myrtle Boyer of Memphis, TN, Dorothy Chapple of Gardendale, AL and Nancy Wood of Winterhaven, FL. Ten grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one son Gerald Glenn Willis, one great grandson Jacob Hargrove and one sister Sandra Wages. Two caregivers: Paulette Brooks and Kathy McGlothan.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 15 from 5-8 PM at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home
in West Memphis AR. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 16 at 2 PM
at Potters Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, AR. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home has
charge of services, (870) 735-1000.
