William "Armon" McCutcheon passed away January 22, 2009 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas. He was born November 02, 1931 to Sumner and Lona (Stephson) McCutcheon in Richland, Arkansas.
He was of the Pentecostal faith and attended the Falling Water Church, he strongly believed in old fashioned values. He loved to sit in the front yard and whittle. Armon was a farmer and loved the land. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. And a veteran of the Air Force.
He is preceded in death by his parents Sumner and Lona, one daughter Susie Arter of Witts Springs, Arkansas and one brother Sam McCutcheon of Memphis, Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Wanda McCutcheon of the home, two sons; Randy and wife Judy McCutcheon of Richland, Arkansas, Andy and wife Cheryl McCutcheon of Vilonia, Arkansas, one daughter; Elona Kronke of Greenwood, Missouri, one sister Olee Monroe of Oakdale, California, grandchildren; Michelle Manes, Jamie Crumley, Casey Milsap, Cassie Walker, Joshua McCutcheon, Jennifer Daniel, Angela Smith Johnathan Kronke, William McCutcheon, Joshua Cangiano, Jennifer Cangiano, and great-grandchildren: Shyanne Manes, McKinna Manes, Landen Walker, Hayden Milsap, Jonathon and Ezekiel Daniel
Visitation will be Saturday, January 24, 2009 from 6-8 P.M. at Roller~Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas.
Services will be Sunday, January 25, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Roller~Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Charles Christian officiating. Pallbearers are Joshua McCutcheon, Bill Horn, Alan McCutcheon, , Don Jay Switzer, and Danny Joe Ruff,and Steve Tucker. Honorary Pallbearers are Johnathan Kronke, Jamie Crumley, , Will McCutcheon, Wayne Walker, Brandon McAfee, Dr. Blake Chitsey, Lester Chisum, J.W. Hendrix, and Claud Lewis.
Burial will be in the Hall Cemetery under the direction of Roller~Coffman Funeral Home.

Godspeed Mr.William. Im very saddened to loose such a wonderful friend. He was one of the most pleasant patients i have ever had. Prayers to the family. I know he is in heaven listening to all the wonderful sounds of life.

Armon was a great inspiration to me as I entered and worked through my educational career. Best wishes to you and the kids. If the kids have time have them to give me an update on their lives.

I am sorry for your loss of a wonderful man. Whenever I seen him at church or at town, there was always a hug waiting for me. He was a great man and will be missed by many. Our prayers are with all of you during this time. We know he is not hurting any longer, even though it is so hard to let go. Our hearts are with you.
