I am an old friend from Norwalk California back in the early 80's. I was friends with him and his sister Brenda.
I looked him up online and found this sad news of his death. He was a good guy and always made me laugh and liked to dance to Kc & the Sunshine band! I will always remember that.
Looks like he did pretty good in life, that's good to know. If anyone reads this maybe you can pass it on to a family member my condolences.

May the Lord give you comfort in knowing that he is at his new home in heaven.

Marilyn, Heath, and Spencer:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. It was such a blessing to know Rick and witness the courage he showed through his illness. He had such a way with words and always made one feel much better through his kindness. Even when he was having a hard time health wise he never complained. He admired you all and always praised the way you all stood beside him. We know that you will miss him greatly but he has
received the ultimate healing. God bless you all.

My best friend and I attended ASU-Searcy in 2003-2004, and whenever we went in to see Mr. Rick, he would always call us Mary-Kate & Ashley. To this day, her and I still talk about being Mary-Kate & Ashley. Mr. Rick was an inspiration to me. I was so sad when she emailed me this morning that she had read it in the paper that he went home to his mansion above the clouds. I truly believe that Heaven got on of the best people up there now. To Mr. Rick's family, keep the Lord near and he will heal your pain. God Bless you all.

We were so sorry to hear the news. Rick has fought such a long and courageous battle for as long as I have known him. His accomplishments through all the difficulties are something to be so proud of. You were such a terrific team and gave him such wonderful support. What an example you have been to all of us. May God bless you and comfort you all in the days and weeks ahead.

Marilyn, Heath, & Spenser,
There aren't enough words to describe the lose that you and all those who loved Rick are feeling. No matter how much we know that my "Little Buddy" is in a better place, we hate to let him go. May your sadness be comforted by the memories of the good times with Rick.

You've been in our prayers and we will continue to keep you there. Rick was a very special person and loved by so many. I have missed seeing and visiting with him since he left ASU.

Marilyn and boys. We have had you all in our daily prayers and will always have you in our prayers. Rick will truly be missed.

We are all so blessed to have known Rick and called him our friend.
We will never have another "psychiatrist" as good as Rick. He always knew the right thing to say to make us laugh. ASU-Searcy will surely miss him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you today. We love you guys.

Heath & Family-
You are all in my prayers. May God bless you during this difficult time....

I am very blessed to have had Rick in my life. He was a dear friend who listened with his heart and made everyone he knew feel loved. May will all find comfort in knowing Rick is with his Creator enjoying his perfect vision and painless body. I love you Rick and it's not goodbye; it's I'll see ya later.

You are all in our thoughts and prayers. We love you all, Mel & Heather & Boys

When Rick ran the snack bar on the ASU-Searcy campus I would visit him everyday. We would have so many wonderful conversations. We laughed together as well as shared some tears. He was such an inspiration to me. He will be missed! God bless you Marilyn, Spenser and Heath, I know how difficult this has to be.

My heart aches for you right now, but we all know Rick is in a much better place. I smile just thinking about how he must be rejoicing right now! I have so many wonderful fun memories of him and will cherish those forever! May you feel God's arms wrapped around you to comfort you during this difficult time.

Marilyn, Heath, & Spencer,
I want all three of you to know my heart goes out to the whole family. I want you also to know that I will be praying for you as well as All my friends who are Prayer Warriors from Geyer Springs. May God Bless You.

I want you to know that Rick was a inspiration to me--he always had something nice to say and I am blessed to have been able to work with him all those years. Marilyn, Heath, and Spencer, you are all in my thoughts and prayers and I know how much you will miss him but he no longer is in the pain that I witnessed the last time I saw him and he can now "see" all of you and smile down on you. May God bless you during this difficult time. Love always, Ketta
