It was a delight to know Amy Huie and to have the opportunity to have featured a story about her in Life InThe Ozarks. She was like a bright light whereever she was. Her love for dancing and zest for life was something I admired. She will be missed.

I am the nephew of my Aunt, Amy. She used to always say in her Christmas cards to me that, "I can still do the shimmy." She was a wonderful Auntie to me, always positive, up-beat, and resigned to a positive and hopeful view of life. I remember going to the Arkansas State Univ. to give a speech at a nonverbal communication Conf. My Uncle Tom and Amy came and we went out dancing together . . . a lot of fun. I visited her and my Uncle Tom when I got out of the Navy many years ago and still treasure that visit. Amy will always be a lot of wonderful memories to me. I am sure that she is now in a much better place in the great beyond and she certainly deserves to be in a better world. I will miss her terribly.

Aunt Amy was greatly loved and will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

I am glad that I on several occasions got to hear your heart speak.

I (Jo) am a niece of Amy Huie, the daughter of the late Thomas Bogun, Amy's brother. Charles & I lived in Mountain Home for years and saw aunt Amy many times when she visited her brother (my father). May the Lord bless and keep thee. His countenance shine upon thee and give thee peace.
