Mabry Ford

Mabry Ford, age 81 of Sherwood, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock. He was born May 9, 1923 in Fountain Hill, Arkansas to Eligh and Betty Ford. Mr. Ford was a World War II Army Veteran serving in Patton's 3rd Army and was a member of the 95th Infantry "Iron Men of Metz". Mr. Ford was a retired diesel mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Dovie Barley and his wife Mary Nell Ford.

He is survived by two sons; Mabry Eugene Ford and wife Kim of Memphis, Tennessee and Hugh Alan Ford and wife Pamela of Sherwood; one granddaughter, April Ford-Broderick and husband Bryan of North Little Rock; sister, Lizelle Holder of Sherwood and one great grandson Ford Michael Broderick of North Little Rock.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 28, 2004 at First Baptist Church of Sherwood with Reverend Paul McClung officiating, under the direction of Roller-Owens Funeral Home (791-7400). Interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Military Honors. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 27, 2004 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
