She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. But rather than mourn the absence of the flame, let us celebrate how brightly it glowed.

John and Rebecca and family,
We share your sorrow in losing Frances, and rejoice with you in the knowledge that she lived a full and wonderful life. I am so glad we got to meet her and spend that memorable Christmas with all of you.
With much love,
Patricia, Julian, and Tory

Art and John,
My heart was saddened as I read about the passing of your mother. I can still see her and your dad being so faithful to Dermott Baptist Church and I can still hear her wonderful alto voice. She was an extrordinary example for all of us. How blessed I was to know her during those important years of growing up. May God comfort you with your fond memories and encourage you with His promises of a heavenly home with Him.
With sympathy,
Jackie Barlow Edmonson

We have heard so many wonderful things about Mrs. Spratlin that we wish we had known her, but seeing the video has helped some.
We extend our deepest sympathy to the family in their loss, as well as our prayers for God to comfort each of you.
Our hope is in Christ and one day we will all be together in our heavenly home. What a joy and blessing to have that hope in Christ.
With our love in Christ,
Margie and Don Mines,
friends of John from
First Baptist Church, Austin

May wonderful memories of your mother help you celebrate her life, remind you of her love, and help bring peace and healing to your hearts.
With our deepest sympathy,

With our deepest sympathy

I always enjoyed working with your mother and getting to know her.
Deepest Sympathy

The Spratlin family is one of the reasons I have such fond boyhood memories of Dermott. Frances' smile and affirmation meant a lot to this unsure boy. Just as you bless her memory, may you be blessed by your memories and that of others who join together to offer thanks for her life.

Mrs. Spratlin encouraged Janice and myself in church youth activities. She encouraged us as I struggled to pass the CPA exam in 1969. She was truly our "Barnabas".
As I read the newspaper article about her life it reminded me of a phone call that I received from her one day. She stated that there was a dormant bank account that contained some monies left over from youth baseball concession sales in past years and that it should be transferred to Tri-Club Baseball. God satisfies our needs, even youth baseball equipment.
John and Art, she made you proud. Janice and I are pleased to call her "friend".
You have our sympathy in your time of loss.

Frances played a big part in my life. She helped me grow up in Dermott and Dermott Baptist Church and later in life helped me learn a lot in beginning a career in banking. Besides being a lifetime friend of my family! I have missed her greatly since she moved from Dermott and look forward to seeing her in heaven. My sincere sympathy to Art and John and families.

Frances would call me every Saturday to check on me
and to see if I would be in Sunday school and I really
appreciated this so much...Just think...Of stepping on
shore and finding it Heaven, Of touching a hand and
finding it God's, Of breathing new air and finding it
celestial, Of waking up in glory and finding it home...My
love and deepest sympathy...Gertrude Witt
