Verna Moore Sterling, 84, Mountain View formerly of Jonesboro entered into rest June 19, 2008 in Mountain View.

Verna was born August 16, 1923 in Onia to Samuel N. and Mintie (McGee) Moore.

She was a member of Old Enterprise Church in Jonesboro, a homemaker, wife, sister and loving aunt.

She is survived by a sister; Maggie Hardin of California; six nieces; Yvonne West of Colorado, Brenda McIntosh of California, Sue Philbrook of California, Phyllis Holt and Jane Freeze of Mtn. View and Mavis Canard of Texas and four nephews; Jim Rorie of Fox, Dale Rorie of Kansas City, MO, Dee Fulks of Timbo and Wayne Moore of Mtn. View and many other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Mintie Moore; her husband, Ocie Sterling; one brother, Woodrow Moore; five sisters; Alpha Rorie, Addie Goodman, Opal Henson, Virgie Fulks and Jewell Ticer and one nephew, Dwight Fulks.

Visitation is 9 - 10 a.m., June 21, 2008 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View.

Funeral service is 10 a.m., June 21, 2008 with Bro. Junior Barham officiating with interment in Old Enterprise Cemetery, Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Dee Fulks, Brad Fulks, Wayne Moore, Jim Rorie, Dale Rorie and Shawn Downs.

Roller Coffman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
