Mrs. Barbara Jean Sisney, age 69 of Oakland passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House. Barbara Sisney was born February 23, 1939 in Oakland John Curtis and Millie Jane (Hawkins) Rea. She married Homer Sisney on September 22, 1955 in Mountain Home. She did stitching at MarBax Shirt Company for many years. She loved to crochet, work crossword puzzles, and loved flowers.

Mrs. Sisney is survived by her husband, Homer of the home; 3 sons, Ronnie Sisney (Dinah) of Flippin, Joe Sisney (Kathy) of Mountain Home, and Paul Sisney (Michelle) of Midway; 2 granddaughters: Tricia Blades and Shelby Ann Sisney; 1 great-granddaughter: McKenzie Blades; 2 sisters: Fern Sisney and Jerrie Ann Sewell; and a host of step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers: Keith, L.C., and J.C. Rea.

Visitation for Mrs. Sisney will be Noon 9 PM Wednesday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM., Thursday in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks' Hospice House.
