Mary Alma Keatts, 84, of Osceola entered into rest Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at SMC Regional Medical Center in Osceola. She was born Saturday, May 26, 1923, in Osceola, to the late James Gough and Mary H. McGarrity. She retired after 25 years as a Deputy Circuit Court Clerk for Mississippi County. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club and a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of Osceola. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harry Keatts and her son Harry Keatts, Jr. and his wife Jeanette; three grandchildren, Michelle Blaylock of Gosnell, Hillary Ward of Jonesboro, and Clint Keatts of Blytheville; and three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Howell Nicholson and Rep. Billy Nicholson; and one sister, Francis Johnson.

Sweet Friends, Please know that our love and prayers are with you all right now. Losing my Mom was the hardest of all. Cousin Walter had expressed so much love for you both tthat I could not pass up the opportunity to visit with you both two years ago, when I was in Osceola. I will always cherish the memory of our visit You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you much comfort during your time of sorrow.

Harry Jr. I am so sorry about your Mother's death. I wanted to come to the visitation tonight, but I am committed to driving to Rogers today to babysit tomorrow. I have many memories of your Mom when my Daddy would send me to the courthouse. Even if I didn't know what I was doing, she would guide me through it. AYou and your father will be in our prayers.
