Della Beatrice Blair Grinder, 87, of Flippin, Arkansas passed away at her home, May 10, 2008. She was born September 7, 1920 at Magic Springs, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Brunie Blair and Ethna Laymon Blair. She was a homemaker and member of the Assembly of God Church.
She was married to Farley Grinder on the 23rd day of December 1939 in Searcy County, Arkansas. Unto this union was born eight children, five sons: Bob Grinder of New Cambria, Missouri, James B. Grinder, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Donald Grinder of Flippin, Arkansas, Larry (Chuck) Grinder, of Garfield, Arkansas, two daughters: Patricia (Grinder) Christian, of Western Grove, Arkansas, and Sandy (Grinder) George of Rogersville, Missouri, one brother; Cecil Blair of Witts, Arkansas, one sister; Thelma Brown of Billings, Missouri, 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Preceding her in death was her husband Farley Grinder on November 25, 1984, one daughter, Shirley Nuhn on October 31, 1984, her parents, one sister, Letha (Blair) Grinder, one great-grandchild, Michael Willoughby.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 13, 2008 from 10:00 A.M.--- 12:00 P.M. at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas.
Services will be Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 12:00 P.M. at Roller-Coffman Chapel. Pallbearers: Mike Grinder, Jimmy Smith, Greg Grinder, Charles Grinder, Josh Grinder, Travis Harris. Honorary Pallbearers: Nicole Grinder, Laura Ricketts, Sarah Rose Willoughby, Donna Cohrane, Chris Ann Alexander and Joy Combs.
Burial will be in the Silver Hill Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Coffman Funeral Home.
