Bonnie Evelyn Jackson, age 48 of Searcy, died Friday, September 14, 2007 in Searcy.
She was born May 17, 1959 in Helena, Arkansas to Elmer Boshears and Nellie Mae (Cleaver) Boshears. She was a member of Searcy Faith Assembly and a home maker.
She is survived by two sons, Lester Herring and wife Alexia of Heber Springs, Casey Jackson of Beebe; two daughters, Alice Roth of Searcy, Bobbie DeSha Jackson of Beebe; four grandchildren, Karmen Rhodes of Searcy, James Rhodes of Searcy, Talasi Herring of Albion, Jaylen Arnold of Heber Springs; five brothers, Elmer Dodson, Paul Dodson, Ronnie Dodson, Eldon Dodson, James Dodson; and five sisters, Lois Criswell, Ivy Boyster, Judy Parmely, Alice Caldwell, and Chris Dodson.
Visitation is Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Searcy Faith Assembly Church with interment to follow at Faith Cemetery.

I am happy that you found faith and it gave you great comfort. My thoughts go out to your family. Watch over me from heaven and tell my mother hi. I feel so fortunate to have been your friend. We shocked everybody by graduating college! I will see you in the next life. As I sit here and type this out, my eyes well up with tears but I won't allow myself to cry. Not yet. I am a better person for having you as a friend, but my soul has grown a b bit darker for having lost you to the almighty and right now I am just very sad that I have lost my friend. It sure did my heart good to visit your church and witness how you knew Jesus Christ. We love you and will see you again Aunt Bonnie, it will be a glorious day.
