I will always remember Joyce. Her cleaver brain, along with its immense knowledge base helped me to fine tune my work and research while I attended SWT.

I dont think I will ever have a better neighbor to bounce my ideas off of, she always had a comment or written material to share that no one else did.

Joyce will forever be loved and remembered by me.

Joyce and I shared an interest in developing the general simplex conjecture/theorem as well as with logical structures. She will always be remembered in my mind for her inquisitive mind and stimulating conversations. I will continue to give her credit for her contribution. I wish Joyce joy and peace in this transition. With respect, John

In 1985, overwhelmed by the labor involved in publishing my first book, I was taking a nighttime walk around the Baptist Academy track when I heard a voice cry out of the darkness: "Can't you move any faster than that?!" From then on, Joyce was my inspiration and motivation, and ever-present source of wit, wisdom, courage, and prayerfulness.

Joyce Donohoe taught me a lot about many aspects of life and leadership, and I enjoyed working with her on mathematical projects over the years. We frequently reminded each other of the oscillatory relationship between people and logic, and Joyce's spirituality provided a glowing example for our entire family. I also loved to hear Joyce's stories of experimenting with the various items in her household. It is because of one of her experiences that we never have the toaster plugged in when we're not using it! Joyce, we all love you and we will miss you. Greg

Dear LJKTD, Even though I was 7 at the time, I will always remember the birthday party you threw for me at the restaurant. Love, BWBP

I would like to extend condolences on behalf of the staff of the San Marcos Public Library. Joyce was a regular visitor to the library and checked out a lot of materials on an ever changing list of topics. She was so interesting to talk to and so smart! She was so proud of her family and our thoughts are with you.
