Edward Eugene Lensing, 85, of Scranton died Friday, December 1, 2006. He was born September l, 1921 to Henry and Ida (Engel) Lensing of Shoal Creek, AR. He was a U.S. Army Corporal with the 241st field artillery service in France, Germany, Czechoslovakia and Austria. He was a farmer, a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Bertha Lensing Neumeier and two brothers, Raymond and Donald Lensing. Survivors are his wife, Agnes (Kleck) Lensing; five daughters, Pat Kennedy, Betty Eckart & husband, Greg, Mary Snow & husband, Rick, Dorothy Schluterman & husband, Danny and Virginia Sory & husband, Larry; two sons, Larry Lensing & wife, Doris and Gary Lensing & wife, Penny; three sisters, Freida Eckelhoff, Regina Willems and Mildred Etzkorn; one brother, Bill Lensing; nineteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mass and burial were Monday, December 4, 2006 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church & Cemetery in Morrison Bluff, AR. Pallbearers were Matthew Snow, William Kennedy, Kevin Eckart, Brian Schluterman, Britt Sory, Ben Lensing and Whitney Lensing. Honorary Pallbearers were grandchildren and great grandchildren.
