So sorry to hear of passing of my dear friend & a very special person, Mrs. Edna Alexander, I've rode many miles with her and Destil to basketball games all over north Arkansas, stayed many, many nights in their home, during childhood, and could always count on getting special treatment (extra food), in lunch line at St. Joe school cafeteria...

Jim Bob & Johnny, everyone who met your mother, Edna, loved her never ending, "always giving attitude", I'm sure God loves her, just as much as we do. I feel the pain of your broken heart, only passing time can heal the hurt. Until we meet again, so long dear friend .... I'll always cherish the fondest memories of the Alexander family.

We loved her like she was our own. She was a great mentor to me and such a wonderful example of kindness. She loved her family, she took pride in her work and she was so very proud to be a Vilonia Eagle. She will be greatly missed by everyone, but is leaving an incredible legacy for which her children, grandchildren and community can be proud. Praying for great rejoicing tomorrow for your family as she is now in her cancer free body in Heaven. We love you all and wish terribly we could be there.

John and Angela I was so sadden to hear of Ms. Edna's Passing. I know that she has been traveling a hard road the last few months. But it is so much easier to know that they have traveled on down that road to a better place, with no more suffering or pain. Alan and I were blessed to work with her and get to know her the way we did. She will be greatly missed. Our prayers will be with ya'll.
