Grace Howton Monroe Lewis Miles 
April 28, 1914 - March 17, 2005

Grace Howton Monroe Lewis Miles 90, of Jacksonville went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 17, 2005.

She was born to the late Samuel and Bertha Howton in Palestine, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband; Harland Monroe and daughter Shelba Webb. Grace was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Jacksonville; she retired from Timex, she loved Gospel Music and gardening. She also loved to bowl in Sherwood and Little Rock Air Force Base

She is survived by four sons; Buford Monroe and wife  Darla of Conway, Hoyt Monroe and wife Barbara of Lonoke, DuCarrol Monroe and wife Barbara of Sherwood, and Raymond Monroe of Sherwood, three daughters; Juanita Carver and husband William of Alamogordo, NM, Betty Sue Mc Pherson. of Jacksonville, LaVada Folsom and husband Trafford of Jacksonville, one brother Leo Howton of New Albany OR, and two sisters Lola Jean Massey  and Connie Lee Howton of  Palestine, twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2005 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel North Little Rock (501-791-7400). Interment will follow at 3 p.m.atSalem Methodist Cemetery in Goodwin, AR.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
