November 6, 1918 - January 31, 2010 Velma B. Hardcastle Lee of Dover, Arkanas was born November 6, 1918 at Lamar, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Floyd and Jessie (Cude) Hardcastle. She died January 31, 2010 at Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 91. She was a member of Lee’s Chapel Assembly of God Church, Lamar, Arkansas. She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by one son, Jerry Lee, and her husband, N.J. Lee.
She leaves behind two daughters, Jeannie Robinson, and husband, Melvin of St. Francisville, Louisiana, and Monna Stiles and husband Marc of Little Rock, Arkansas, and a sister Euna Dickey of Russellville, Arkansas. Seven grandchildren, Hunter Botts, Stephanie Clarke, Michael Lee, Jeff Lee, Sonya Gallegos, Melissa Stiles, and Mike Stiles, and 7 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends during visitation on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Roller Cox Funeral Home Clarksville, Arkansas. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at Lee’s Chapel Assembly of God Church, Lamar, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Annie’s Chapel Cemetery Lamar, Arkansas. Reverend Amos Pledger and Reverend Dewayne Holland will officiate.
The Pallbearers are Hunter Botts, Michael Lee, Jeff Lee, Mike Stiles, Michael Clarke, Steven Smith and Lyndon Lee.
The Honorary Pallbearers are Sherman Payne, Don Freeman, Don Moak, Leroy Shatwell, Dickey Shatwell, Pearl Freeman, Thelma Smith, Linda Dotson and Paul Pledger.
Roller-Cox Funeral Home, Clarksville, Arkansas is in charge of arrangements.
