Carla Mae Chase, age 81, of Marshall, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 21, 2011 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born in Texoma, Oklahoma on September 7, 1929 to Cecil E. Wyatt and Delores (Rhodes) Wyatt.
Carla was a member of Harriet Assembly of God Church for many years. She was very dedicated to her church and church family. She was bible school director and assistant adult Sunday school teacher. For several years, Carla has done many tax returns for her neighbors and the community, and continued to do so until a week before her passing. She loved serving her family and community.
Her parents and her husband, Bill Chase, precede her in death.
Survivors include three sons, Toby Chase and wife Kathy of Elkins, AR, Monty Chase and wife Beth of Marshall, MO and Perry Chase and wife Helen of Marshall, AR; four daughters, Carla Sue Williamson and husband Dave of Tuttle, OK, Peggy Spurlock of Monnett, MO, Robin Triplett and husband Larry of Hollis,OK and Billie Walters and husband Ken of Monnett, MO; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one sister, Oneta Roles of Inola, OK.
Services for Carla Chase will be 10:00 AM Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Donnie Horton and Bro. Roy Ragland officiating. Visitation will be 6:00—8:00 PM Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the Chapel. Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Rick McCoy, T.J. Tackett, Randy Crumley, Randy Clark, Darren Holliman and Brandon Horton.
