Rex Warren Capps, Sr., age 77 of England, AR. went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 3, 2007. Mr. Capps was a member of the First Baptist Church of England, a farmer, past President of the Arkansas Flying Farmers and past Deacon of the First Baptist Church. The Capps family was honored as Lonoke County Farm Family of the Year in 1961.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt S. Capps and Minnie Grist Capps.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Morris Capps of England; one son, Rex Capps, Jr. (Sharon) of England, four daughters, Sandy White (Mark) of England, Cecilia Capps of Conway, Denise Brown (Mickey) of Humnoke and Camille Childers (Don) of Sherwood; one brother, Charles Capps (Peggy) of Quitman, AR; 9 grandchildren, Amanda Rose (Jay) of Maumelle, Dr. Kati Migliaccio (Tom) of Homestead, FLA., Dr. Paul White, Tifton, GA., Emily Hawkins (Brian) of England, Chris White (Jill), Fayetteville, AR., Adam Brown (Averie), Humnoke, AR., Jacob Brown (Kim), Springdale, AR., Rachel Childers, Sherwood, AR., Phillip Childers, Sherwood, AR.; two great-grandchildren, Layne Hawkins and Justin Hawkins both of England; and two nieces.
Visitation will be Friday 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Roller-England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939. Funeral service will be Saturday 10:00 A.M. at Roller-England Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mulberry Cemetery.
Serving as Pallbeaers will be Adam Brown, Jacob Brown, Paul White, Chris White, Brian Hawkins and Jay Rose.
