John Ronald Wright

of Mountain View, AR

January 31, 1951 - April 24, 2024

John Ronald Wright, 73, passed on April 24, 2024 and woke in the arms of his Lord and Savior. He was born January 31, 1951 to the late John Hipley and Erika Gertrude (Kassell) Wright in Bamburg, Germany.

John was a man of integrity, who loved God, country and most of all his family. He served his county in the law force. He was a police officer in the city of Memphis and was also one of the original members of the Tact Squad, which we know today as the S.W.A.T. Team. John was a very patriotic man who was loyal to those he served. He was a private man and extremely stoic to those who knew him. John loved setting on the back porch viewing the mountains ''His View'' and watching the birds that perched on the feeder for their meals that he made sure they had waiting on them in which John made sure that seldom ran out. He enjoyed working on projects and took pride in creating things with his hands. He also enjoyed a good football game and working in the yard and could be found listening to 60's and 70's music. However, his most important accomplishment in life was the provision, protection of his family and time that he spent with each one of them individually and in a family group setting. He loved his family and he made preparation to meet them again one day. All that knew John loved him dearly and he will be greatly missed.

John leaves behind this loving spouse of forty-seven years, Janette Wright; sister, Janet (David) McCulluogh; daughter, Dawn Wilson and son, Hunter (Joy) Wright.

John is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James Michael Wright and Karl Heinz.

In lieu of flowers to honor John, please give to St. Jude's Hospital.

Private Celebration for life is pending.

Roller Crouch of Mountain View has been entrusted for the arrangements.
