Joyce Kaye Bass, age 72, of Harrison passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024. She was born September 14, 1951 to Dewey and Pauline (Burnett) May in Harrison, Arkansas.
Kaye did genealogy research for 20-plus years. She was married to Lacey Bass for 40-plus years. They had two children. She was a devoted military wife for 22 years. She had one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Kaye loved her family more than anything.
Kaye was preceded in death by her son, Jamie Bass; her husband, Lacey Bass and her parents.
Kaye is survived by her daughter, Tracey Harris of Harrison; her sisters, Jayne Schmidt of Witchita, Kansas, Patsy May of Wichita, Kansas and Sue Smith of Franklin, Arkansas; her grandchild, Kaylee Rae Launius of Harrison and her great-grandchild, Aurora Launius.
The funeral service was on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Bro. Ohmer Dyal officiating.
The interment was at Hill Top Cemetery.
