Sharon Rose Lewis

of Leslie, AR

January 28, 1963 - February 17, 2024

Sharon Rose Lewis, age 61, of Leslie, Arkansas passed from this earthly life on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born in Prairie County, Arkansas on January 28th, 1963 to Frank Leonard Diemer and Shirley Temple Price Diemer. Sharon married the love of her life, Noel Lewis on November 15th, 2003 and together they built a beautiful life right here in Searcy County.

Sharon worked most of her life in the restaurant and food service industry. She was a savvy business woman who built businesses from the ground up. Her dedicated service and business knowledge helped make her a Searcy County success story. She was more than just a ''Boss''. She fostered genuine relationships with all those who worked for her and around her. Sharon treated her employees as family and was truly concerned for their well-being. Her strong sense of community and her servant's heart was one of her greatest assets. While many knew Sharon as Searcy County's five time chocolate roll winner, she was most importantly known as ''Nana'' to her family and family was her greatest joy and accomplishment. She was the ''heart'' of her family and showed her love as a dedicated wife, mother and ''Nana'' every single day. Her extraordinary presence will be greatly missed by her community, her employees and most importantly her family.

Survivors include her husband, Noel Lewis; her children, Kevin Lewis (Jacquelyn), Bryan Lewis, (Desiree), Amanda Lewis and Ashley Lewis Paullin (Dean); grandchildren, Rebecca Lewis-Whitbey (Justin), Haley Stevens, Riley McDaniel-Infante (Aldrich), Dalton Lewis, Kylie Lewis, Ashlyn Williams, Bailey Lewis, Carissa Lewis, Logan Lewis and Gavin Lewis; great-grandchildren, Maverick Whitbey, the late Memphis Whitbey, Madden Whitbey and Luka Infante; siblings, Leonard Junior Diemer, James Lee Diemer, Warren Howel Diemer, the late Paul Edward Diemer, Shelia Diane Diemer and Cindy ''Cynthia'' Kay Diemer; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Shirley Diemer; brother, Paul Diemer and great-grandson, Memphis Whitbey.

Funeral services for Sharon will be 12:00 PM Friday, February 23rd, 2024 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Tommy Jolly and Bro. Donnie Collins officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 till 12:00 PM preceding the service. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery, 4815 Hwy. 254 E, Leslie, Arkansas. Bearers will be Kevin Lewis, Bryan Lewis, Dean Paullin, Justin Whitbey, Dalton Lewis and Sherman Lewis. Honorary bearers will be Aldrich Infante and Willis Lewis.

My wife and I have a cabin in Dennard. We come up every couple of months and just learned of Sharon’s passing. She was a beautiful lady always with a kind word and a smile at the Cafe. She had a sweet spirit and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A heart of servitude.

Our hearts are saddened to hear of Sharon’s passing. This earth has sure lost the presence of a loving , kind, sweet, generous and carrying and helpful lady. Sharon loved what she did on a daily bases, even if you didn’t know Sharon and you was around her, a person could tell by her actions. Sharon always catered to my needs and wants in anything that I wanted her to make for me, even if she had never made it, she would always try it for me.No one can ever take Sharon’s place, she was one of a kind. The family is in our thoughts and prayers. Tressa (Stevens) and Jay Scott

Sharon was such a wonderful lady! So kind and compassionate to all. That shy smile those soft words will be so missed. She was so wonderful to the group of men that used to gather when she owned Misty’s. Doug would always order her chicken and dumplings. She knew to put it in an extra large bowl. She spoiled them all. Sweet sweet Sharon.,,we will miss you.

Our hearts are saddened at the loss of a special lady. Sharon was so kind to everyone she knew and met. She always had a smile and was a wonderful cook too, (just like her Mom) I grew up around Sharon, riding the school bus together and then later eating her wonderful meals at Misty's and then at Red River Cafe. To the family; Look to God for the comfort only he can give and hold each other tight. Hold on to those precious memories with her. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
