Ann Self Bruce, of Bedford, Texas, departed this life for her Heavenly home on February 8, 2024. Ann was a native of Griffthville, Arkansas and a graduate of Griffthville High School. She was a resident of Bedford, Texas, where she retired from working for American Airlines. Ann was a member of the Church of Christ, had a passion for music and a love for her family and her dog Noel.
Ann was born December 5, 1936, to Allen and Lou Ella Self of Griffithville, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ben Bruce Sr, her beloved daughter, Desiree Bruce-Phillips, a brother, James Self, and her parents.
Left to mourn her passing are two sons, Benny Jay Bruce, Jr and Timothy Lance Bruce; one granddaughter Brandi (Curtis) Wells; two great-grandchildren, Troy and Raelynn; one sister Edith (Mike) Seger and three nieces who loved her very much.
The family will receive friends on February 17, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home of Little Rock. Mike Seger will be officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m.
