Patrick Gene McKinney

of Benton, AR

November 2, 1951 - February 3, 2024

We are saddened to announce the passing of Patrick Gene McKinney. He died the morning of
Saturday, February 3rd in Benton, Arkansas at the age of 72. He is survived by his loving wife, Debi; two children, David and Gina; two sisters, Sara and Jean; daughter-in-law, Christie; four grandchildren, Devyn, Alyssa, Aidan and Maggie; great grandson, Apollo; brother-in-law, David Withem and dog, Bailey. The son of Ada and Dewey McKinney, Patrick was a lover of life and genuinely cared for everyone he came across.
Personally, Pat was a husband, a father, a brother, a grandfather, a great grandfather and a friend to all. Professionally, he was employed in the shoe business for close to 25 years, working his way up from salesman to corporate buyer for the U.S. Shoe Corporation - Cincinnati Shoe division. After a stint in Missouri as a manufacturer's rep to big box home improvement stores, he relocated to Benton, Arkansas. There he managed the newly opened Labor Finders franchise where he helped hundreds of people find jobs.
Pat will be dearly missed by all who knew him. And to that he would say he is simply meeting his brother, Joe, at the Happy Hunting Grounds of his Peorian forefathers. Patrick's spirit will live on within each person he ever met. And each person is better off for meeting him. Happy hunting, Dad. There will be a 2:00pm memorial service for Patrick on Saturday, February 17th at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home in Benton.
