Billie C. Ryan, age 86, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 in Harrison, Arkansas. He was born December 14, 1937 at Bear Creek Springs, Arkansas, the son of Warren Ryan and Ethel Thomason Ryan. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Bonnie Nibert and Mary Tabor.

Bill worked for McKesson in the warehouse in Harrison for 42 years and Hudson Super Market. A member of the National Guard, he loved playing and singing music, working in his garden and fishing with Greg.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Ruble Ryan of 64 years; his son, Gregory C. Ryan; daughter, Shellie Ryan Delsanto; granddaughters, Kayla Delsanto Westwood and husband Kyle, and Elizabeth Ryan; grandson, Andy Delsanto; great-grandchild, Banks Westwood; 3 sisters, Alta King, Wanda Dorsey and Wilma Pollock; 2 brothers, Terry Ryan and Bert Ryan and his cat, Coco.


Visitation was an hour before the funeral.

The funeral service was held on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Dr. James Bryant officiating.

Burial was in Maple Leaf Cemetery in Harrison, Arkansas.

Pallbearers were Larry Parsley, Joe Jones, Ronnie Deakins, John King, Chris Pratt and Dave McMurrin.

Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Tom and Cindy Langston, Kim and Gertie, Diane Jones, David and Jessica, Charles and Mary Ann, Linda Alford, Paul and Annie Lee, Carol and Carey, Fred Wilson, Bert Crawford and Bud Wallis.
