Mary Ann (Anhalt) White, 84, of New Blaine, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on September 30, 1939 in Shoal Creek to her parents, John and Katie (Schulte) Ahnalt.
Mary was a retired bookkeeper, having worked several years for both Schwartz Dodge and 22 Food in Paris. She received her pilot's license several years ago while she was living in Kansas. She loved to travel and explore new places and restaurants, loved gardening and loved Christmas time and setting up her Christmas villages. She was a long time member of St. Scholastica Catholic Church and Mother's Society in Shoal Creek.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husbands, Marvin Burrows and Ullie White and two sons, Larry Burrows and Gary Burrows.
She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Morrow of Hartman, Arkansas; her daughter in law, Tyna Burrows of Charleston; two sisters, Janie Mertin of Paris and Lucy Helton and husband, James of Paris; three brothers, Charles Anhalt of Hackett, Tommy Anhalt and wife, Alice of New Blaine and Ed Anhalt of Little Rock; her grandchildren, Kristen Sheppard and husband, Matt, Kyle Burrows and wife, Anna, Melosa Hartsfield and Tabitha Kendrick and husband, Caleb; her great grandchildren, Alyssa Canada, Kinley Sheppard, Katie Sheppard, Charles Burrows, Darrell Harden and wife, Faith, Kelly Harden, Payton Hartsfield, Zoey Hartsfield, Rebecca Harden and Saige Melton and one great-great grandson, Grayson Harden.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Shoal Creek officiated by Fr. Mark Stengel. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
