Zane Curtis Yacks, age 19, of Harrison, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022. He was born November 15, 2002, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, to McLane and Diana (Bowen) Yacks. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dennis Yacks.

Zane enjoyed playing football, soccer, basketball, and many other sports. He was an avid outdoors person who loved to spend time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed playing video games, board games, and was a larger-than-life kind of person. He will be known as a hard worker. He loved the Lord with all his heart.

Zane is survived by his parents; his grandparents, Grammy Linda Yacks, Bud and Sherry Bowen of Windsor, Colorado, Richard and Victoria Garrett of Muscatine, Iowa, and Cheri and Kevin Kuper of Fort Morgan, Colorado; his sisters and brothers-in-law, McKae and Sidney Applegarth of Harrison, Monika and Blake Helms of Fairfax, Iowa, and Gracee Yacks of Harrison; and his fiance, Jillian Crow, of Harrison.

Zane is also survived by his best friend, Cody Jones, of Harrison; his aunts and uncles, Nicole and Bradley Heisler of Parker, Colorado, Laura Rodriguez of Pueblo, Colorado, and Joey Hogan of Pueblo, Colorado; four cousins, Parker Heisler of Parker, Colorado, Bella Heisler of Parker, Colorado, Keylan Rodriguez of Pueblo, Colorado, and Keyani Hogan of Pueblo, Colorado; and a host of other family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 17, 2022, at CrossRoads Community Church with Pastor John Walters officiating.

The family requests that guests that come to the Celebration of Life dress comfy casual.
