As a former student at Franklin, I had the privilege to meet Mrs. Dunbar. She was a very kind and patient woman. She definitely made a positive impact in my life, and so many other students during her time there. My condolences to the entire family during this tough time.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. I have a lot of fun memories of Ethel. We worked together at Carver Elementary, Romine Elementary, and Pulaski Heights Elementary. I will always remember carpooling with Ethel and Frances during the start of my career. Ethel always shared some of the funniest stories. She was a wonderful teacher because she expected the best of all students and she cared about all of them. Ethel was a great educator and she made a positive impact in the lives of many, many students. May you find peace and joy in the many special memories shared with Ethel. May God bless each of you.
