I was searching for Polly's telephone number on line when I was shocked to find her obituary. My Mother, Frances, married Mack Littlejohn and we lived near the Littlejohn family until I left for the Army. Dave, Polly, Kenneth and Louis were the closest I had for Brothers and a Sister. I would have driven up had I known. I have Mack Littlejohn's military papers which I would mail to someone who would like them. Email me at jckimble@centurylink.net and I will send them to you. Polly was a wonderful Christian, and loved her family so much. She proved her love for Christ by her good works, and supported mission work in Acuna, Mexico, sending us a check for our work with the poor there. Her good works will follow her! Thank you Miss Polly. I will miss our talks on the Littlejohn website and your sweet letters! See you soon. cousin Jan Wednesday, September 19, 2012 |

I am so sorry about your loss. I will always remember your Mother and Father with great respect. No matter where you saw them they always spoke and a person knew that they cared. My prayers are with all of your family. Sincerely, Wanda L. Massengale Thursday, March 29, 2012 |

Polly was a dear, dear friend with whom I corresponded up until a couple of months ago. I had no idea she was so ill. She never indicated it to me. She was one of my very favorite people with whom I worked with at Northark. She was unique, funny, honest, outspoken, beautiful, loving, and fearfully and wonderfully made. Boys, I'm so sorry for your loss, she loved you so, but I'm happy I'll get to spend eternity with her. May the Lord comfort you. I loved her so. Wednesday, March 28, 2012 |
