Mr. Daniel "Don" C.  Cockrum   I am a Veteran.
December 4, 1938 - September 21, 2012

Nadine Griffin

Warsaw, MO

Don,
I am so proud to have you as my brother. You were always so kind and loving. Many were drawn to you by your kind, gentle, and caring heart. You always had a smile on your face and treated others with respect and dignity. You loved your wonderful family and you loved your God. God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love you showed for his name. Heb 6:10 See you soon, Don, under God's new heavens and earth that we are awaiting according to his promise where righteousness is to dwell. 2 Peter 2:13 "where tears, death, mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more. The former things have passed away. Revelation 21:4

Love you my dear brother,
Nadine Griffin

Frank & Wilma Macnak

Mountain Home, AR

We offer our sincere condolences to Janice and family. Don and we enjoyed spending much time together studying the Bible, participating together in the ministry, and just plain association for many, many years. Death is such a relentless enemy; but Jesus said he now has "the keys of death and of Hades." (Revelation 1:18) That means a future resurrection. We can look forward to a time in the near future when Don and others will be brought back to life in paradise on earth. We are anxious to see this occur. Don had a strong faith in this Bible promise. Janice, I'm so saddened to read of Donnie's passing. I've known him since high school days and we used to like to tell about when he, Dale Tipton , and I had to go half way around the world to Japan to run into each other in our respective services. He'll be missed by all since he's on that final biggest "cruise" of all. You and the rest of the family are in my prayers.

Glenda Paxton

Warsaw, MO

I'll always remember my Uncle Don as a happy and kind person. When Grandma Cockrum was in the nursing home he went to see her all the time. Don would tell me how much he loved her. You could tell how much she loved him by the affection she would give him. The Bible states at John 5:28,29 that all those in the memorial tombs will hear Jesus voice and come out. Uncle Don is now waiting along with Grandma Cockrum to be resurrected back to the earth. The earth will be a paradise where Grandma and Uncle Don will serve Jehovah God together with many other friends, family, and loved ones.

Janice & family: I was very sorry to hear of Don's passing. We started the 1st grade together and were friends ever since. It has been a few years since I saw him, but I always counted him among my closest friends. After I got out of the Air Force and lived in Boone county, many times he was my contact in Mtn Home. He called me when Ron Britt passed away and also Jughead Baker. Donnie was a true friend and I will never forget him.
