Curt was a jewel in our world for sure. We were friends since we were kids and it was great to see him at the pool. He was certainly a bright spot for all of us. His peace and joy helped us through his situation. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, Susan. He sure loved you ....

I never met Curt but, through Susan, we read a few of the same books over the past several years thanks to our shared love of dogs. I have a favorite quote from a book I read about a girl who wondered, when she got to heaven, if a beloved dog from her childhood would recognize her there. I thought of that when I read of Curt's dog, Nanny. "I did not have to wait long: he was so happy to see me, he knocked me down." My heartfelt sympathies to Susan and all who knew and loved him.

I was lucky enough to work with Curt at The Faded Rose in the 80's. He was as good as it gets! RIP my friend.

So unfair that the heart of a beautiful soul could not be healed. So thankful for his devotion to Susie and Clint, and the joy he brought to this world.

Susie,
There are no words to express all that Curt meant to Chuck and me. A light has gone out in our lives. He cracked me up like no one ever has and was always so kind and generous to me. We'll miss him greatly, forever and always. I know Nanny, and Bear, and Bridget, Elke and all his dog clan will be thrilled to have him back. Hope he can wear Speedos in heaven, too. Get ready, everybody up there!
I love you, Susie and Clint
and respects to the family. See you soon. Sandy

The world will be missing a great member of it's society sice Curt's passing. May God Bless you Susan and all the family. I had some unbelievable times in Bennigans with Curt and I am sure we all have our own favorite Curt story.....My comfort is knowing he is looking down on us saying, : Guy's if you only Knew".

We met CURT at the wonderful sidewalk cafe 'CHEERS' in Little Rock. We looked forward to seeing him bound up to our table. Each time we joined friends for a meal, laughter and high-jinx would abound. We would be having such a swell time, Curt would join in the fun; Occasionally, (at the end of his shift,) he would pull-up-a-chair. He spoke of his great love of the Buffalo River too! Curt was a delightful fellow and brough 'Good Times' with his mere presence. We extend our sympathies to all the Conde clan - their loss must be great & hearts very heavy at his absence...
