My thoughts and prayers are with you . I worked with Major Franzen for many years at JHS and we always had stories to share about our military experiences. He was a kind man who showed great leadership and care for the students. Many students were encouraged by his patriotism for our country and went on the serve in our military forces. His spirit will always be remebered by his friends and students at JHS.

BJ and Family I am so sorry for your loss. It has been a pleasure to serve with you and Gary as the JROTC instructor team at Jacksonville HS. It just doesn't seem real, may you find comfort in the precious memories you have of him as a husband, father, grandfather, friend, colleague, and associate. It will be very difficult to forget his sense of humor and dedication he showed toward molding the students of the mighty "81". God Bless and keep you both now and in the future. You know Ken & I are here for you! Call on us and we will answer.
