Ben and I were friends for awhile in the Army and got out of the Army at the same time. When I got out of the Army I seriously considered moving to Arkansas to be around Ben. What I remember most about Ben was his expertise as a marksman; I knew it was one of his loves. I am very blessed to read that he was a God Loving Christian. He has been on my mind from time to time and tonight I decided to search for him; finding this obituary. I look forward to sharing with him once again when I follow him to our Savior Jesus' throne.

I was saddened to learn of Ben's passing.. I know there is jubiliation in heaven and that his family will miss him dearly.. I knew Ben as my Uncle Gene's brother. The one who wrote the book " The Woodsman" .I was entertained by the book and pleasantly surprised to learn it was written about Ben's brother. Where ever they are they are together and telling tales.. Ben was and kind, funny man, who will be missed by many.
